The Del Fuegos recorded several fantastic albums, toured with Tom Petty, were lauded by Sam Phillips, Elvis Costello and Robert Plant, appeared on The Tube, and were named the best new band of 1984 by Rolling Stone. But what many people remember them for was making a beer commercial. It ran during the ad break of Live Aid, and singer/guitarist Dan Zanes jokes that “while everybody else was addressing world hunger, The Del Fuegos were selling beer”.  Click here and subscribe to Uncut The
